Gingerbread Tiramisu Cups Holiday (Print)

# Components:

→ Cream Layer

01 - 8 ounces Mascarpone cheese, chilled or at room temperature
02 - 1 cup Heavy cream, cold
03 - 1/3 cup Powdered sugar
04 - 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

→ Soak & Base

05 - 1 loaf Gingerbread, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
06 - 1 cup Strong brewed coffee OR 1 cup Eggnog
07 - 1 tablespoon Coffee liqueur OR Dark rum (optional)

→ Finish

08 - Cocoa powder or Ground cinnamon, for dusting
09 - Crystallized ginger OR Crushed gingersnaps, for garnish

# Directions:

01 - In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until medium peaks form. Gently fold this whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
02 - If using coffee, stir in the coffee liqueur or dark rum (if using). Alternatively, use the eggnog as your soak.
03 - Briefly dip the gingerbread pieces into the prepared soak mixture. Arrange a layer of the dipped gingerbread in the bottom of your serving cups. Follow with a layer of the mascarpone cream.
04 - Repeat the layering process of gingerbread and mascarpone cream until the cups are filled. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld.
05 - Just before serving, lightly dust the tops of the desserts with cocoa powder or cinnamon. Garnish with crystallized ginger or crushed gingersnaps as desired.
