# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
02 - Steam or blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes until tender and bright green. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
03 - In a medium saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
04 - Gradually pour in whole milk and chicken broth while whisking, cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth.
